The input transformer connects to the UPS system's input to provide 3-phase voltage step-down and isolation from 480V (Delta) to 208V (Wye). That clean, reliable 208V backup power passes through the UPS system to support your critical loads. The UPS features ENERGY STAR 2.0-certified technology that provides high operational efficiency to save on utility and cooling costs, as well as protect the environment. It achieves 94% efficiency in double-conversion mode and up to 98% in ECO mode, reducing your power and cooling costs. Unity output power factor (1.0) lets you support more equipment. A low THDi (<2%) improves generator compatibility. A low THDv (≤1%) and active power factor correction with DSP control improve output performance.

Transformer Performs with High Efficiency up to 96.5%

Not only does the input transformer offer up to 96.5 percent efficiency, it also is very quiet with a noise profile less than 65 dBA. A built-in circuit breaker on the output side helps prevent dangerous power overloads. Two ball-bearing cooling fans help prevent overheating. An overheat-sensing relay and switch combine with a red LED indicator to provide over-temperature warning and overheating protection.

UPS Supplies Reliable Battery Backup with Expandable Runtime Options

Three internal battery strings provide 16 minutes of support at half load and seven minutes at full load with zero transfer time. Adding external battery cabinets, such as BP240V09K and BP240V09 (sold separately), provides extended runtime and supports critical loads uninterrupted during successive utility network outages.
